Seoul-Sanya chartered flights resume service
At around 1:00 am on March 28, a chartered flight of South Korea T’Way Airlines carrying South Korean tourists arrived at Sanya Phoenix International Airport, marking the resumption of Seoul – Sanya chartered flights.
The chartered flight route, which ran for just a few flights last November, will be operated for at least one year this time. There will be one flight every Wednesday and Saturday on a Boeing 737-180.
The number of flights will be increased to 4 each week during Sanya’s travel peak seasons, such as in July, August and the period from October to next March. More than 15,000 South Korean tourists are expected to be brought directly to Sanya in the next year.
