Sanya topped the list of 2012’s top 10 tourist destination cities favored by Zhejiang tourists at the Presentation Ceremony of the Award held in Zhejiang province on March 26.

A total of 10 tourism destinations in China were awarded the honorary title in the most authoritative and influential tourism ranking in Zhejiang province.

The other 9 tourism destinations are Jiuzhaigou scenic area in Sichuan Province, Huangshan Mountain in Anhui province, Lijiang Town in Yunnan province, Xiamen city in Fujian Province, Guilin City in Guangxi province, Qingdao city in Shandong province, Huangguoshu Waterfall in Guizhou province, Lhasa city in Tibet Autonomous Region and Wuyuan County in Jiangxi Province.
