Reward policy unveiled to promote tours to Haitang Bay
An illustrating meeting for the reward policy to encourage travel agents to promote tours to Haitang Bay was held at the Sheraton Sanya Haitang Bay Resort on March 21. Officials from Haitang Bay Management Committee and representatives from Haitang Bay Hotel Association attended the meeting.
According to the reward policy, the committee will invite nearly 20 travel agents to develop tour routes and products to promote Haitang Bay from this April to September. Travel agencies which advertise such products on their websites or other distribution channels for no less than 6 months, could be rewarded directly with 10,000 yuan.
The promotional hotels include 11 exciting properties in Haitang Bay such as Kempinski, Hiltion Doubletree, Conrad, Renaissance, Sheraton, The Royal Begonia, Haitang Bay Gloria, Zhujiang Nantian, Haohanpo, Yiyang Hotspring, Wuzhizhou Island Resort and a further 3 high-end hotels which will be opened in the 2nd half of the year such as The Westin and Intercontinental resorts.
Haitang Bay, dubbed as the National Coast, is not only a Hainan International Tourism island showpiece, but also the largest tourism development resort in Sanya. As of now, the regional development has received a total investment of 40 billion yuan.
Besides the 7 high-end resort properties being operated within the region, another 12 up-market brand hotels including the Softie, Mangrove Tree, Hyatt, Shangri-La, Mandarin Oriental, Wyndham and Waldolf, and the Haitang Bay International Duty Free Shopping Center, are under construction.
