From this month, 5 large-scale cultural, sports and exhibition events will be held in Sanya to kick off the Year of Hainan Marine Tourism

Water sports events include the 'Aloha Cup' 2013 Round Hainan Regatta, which is being held from March 20 to 31, and is a world class sporting event, the 2013 UIM Class1 World Powerboat Championship, which runs from March 27 to 30 in Sanya Bay, and finally the Sinan Cup sail race from April 11 to 17 in Yalong Bay.

The island’s luxury lifestyle show, the 3rd Hainan Rendezvous will be once again meeting at Sanya Visun Yacht Club running from March 30 to April 2 to provide a unique platform for leading players in the luxury industry.

In addition, Sanyuesan Festival, another large traditional event of Li and Miao minorities will be held at Dadonghai Square on April 11-12 to entertain the public with Hainan’s rich cultural offerings.
