Sanya’s Tianya Town will focus on 6 tourism districts, according to the general city planning for Tianya Town Sanya (period of 2012-2030) issued by the local authority on March 16.

The 6 tourist resorts are Tianyahaijiao scenic spot, Hongtang Bay & Sanmei Bay tourist resort area, Tianya Scenery Town tourist area, a tropical rehabilitation area, tropical sightseeing tours and a tropical rainforest-experience area.

Hongtang Bay & Sanmei Bay tourist resort area in particular combines high-end resort hotels, leisure clubs, entertainment and health centers and convention centers.

Tianya Scenery Town tourist area, home to government offices, hospitals, schools, restaurants and leisure entertainment facilities, will provide travel services, business financial services and ecological residential communities.
