The Sanya government has released the first batch of e-bikes that meet the national standards to the public on March 13 on its official website www.sanya.gov.cn.

The first batch of e-bikes, which have been approved by the Bureau of Quality and Technical Supervision, include 371 models from 38 national brands.

To better manage the e-bikes across the city, the e-bikes which comply with the current national standards are required to be registered before they are driven on the city’s roads.

Currently owned e-bikes not on the list will not be allowed on public roads or be stocked at the e-bike market.

Starting from March 15, e-bike owners can make reservations to apply for licenses for their e-bikes at two offices, one of which is located at the former Children’s Park beside Xinfeng Bridge and the other next to Yangguang Building in Yinbing Road
