The 2013 World Ladies Championship is to be held at Sandbelt Trails in Mission Hills Resort Haikou from March 7 to 10.

With prizes totaling $600,000, the competition gathers the best female golfers in the world including world No.4, Korean player In-Bee Park, No.5 Chinese player Feng Shanshan, No.7 Norwegian Suzann Pettersen, South African professional golfer Lee-Anne Pace, the top golfer on the European Tour Caudal Anne-Lise from France and Carlota Ciganda from Spain.

The 4-day event features an Individual Professional Competition played over 72-holes of individual stroke-play; a 72 hole Professional Team Competition in which the scores of the top two players from the 18 countries represented will be combined to determine the winning team; and a 72-hole stroke-play Individual Amateur Competition.

During the same week, the 1st Lacasa Ladies Elite Charity Event will be held. During it, world-beating female golfers will take some swings for charity, to benefit poor children in China.
