Starting on Feb 8, the 4 camping sites provided by the Sanya government for the holiday period have been hugely popular with tourists.

To meet the higher demand for RV and camping tours, the local government has set up 4 campsites at located at Jinrun Pearl Museum, No.9 Primary School, Sanya Teachers Training College and Sanya Sports Stadium to ensure tourists enjoy safe and civilized tours in the city.

Mr. Zhang Chen, who drove from Guangzhou, camped at the Sanya Sports Stadium with his family. “Camping here only cost us 100 yuan, which is very reasonable and saves a lot on our accommodation costs” he added.

The camping areas are equipped with lighting facilities, mobile toilets, showers and cabins. In addition, a special team is undertaking daily patrols to ensure the safety of tourists.
