Sanya seafood market has won high praise from customers in consumer-satisfaction surveys this Spring Festival, and Yang Quanle, the owner of one seafood stall in Sanya Bay said that their stall has received many more customers this year than in the last two years.

On the night of the first day of the Chinese New Year, many seafood restaurants at Sanya Bay had set up 30-inch LED TVs in the middle of their premises to display real-time information about seafood produce including wholesale prices, pictures and general information. Besides, each kind of seafood is accompanied by a price tag including its name, photo and price, which is required by the Sanya Price Bureau.

At present, more than 160 seafood stalls in Sanya have installed the electronic dish-ordering system, the price publication screen, and the POS accounting system.

During the Spring Festival holidays, the complaint hotline ‘12315’ has been extended to be open 24 hours a day, and an emergency supervision team has been dispatched to ensure that consumers’ complaints can be handled in a timely manner.
