Sanya is implementing strict measures to crack down on one-day-tour business during the weeklong Spring Festival holiday.

A tourism law enforcement vehicle arranged by Sanya Tourism Quality Supervision Bureau will tour the major scenic spots to publicize tourism laws and distribute more than 3,000 tourist notices reminding the public to choose legal tour operators for holidays. They’ll also outline ways for tourists to register complaints.

Meanwhile, the government is tightening its efforts to crack down on the illegal one-day-tour business by partnering with the three big Chinese telecommunications operators in Sanya. The government will foil illegal operations by shutting down their business telephone links to the outside world after an illicit operation is discovered and reported by tourists.

The government is also calling for the public to fight against illegal one-day-tour operations by collecting the illegal ads promoting such activity and handing them to the local tourism quality supervision bureau, or calling the complaint hotline 0898-88392211.
