Every winter peak tourist season, many tourists move to Sanya to escape the bitter cold in much of northern China, which leads to a short-term shortage in the apartment rental market and rising housing prices.

Since the 2012 New Year holiday, the demand for car rentals has also increased rapidly, and car rental reservations for the Spring Festival holiday have started to be accepted. A 5-seat Toyota Corolla is quoted at 750 yuan per day which is slightly more expensive than normal days.
