Sanya will levy a service charge at the 4 public campsites during the 2013 Spring Festival holiday to cover part of the cost of the new camping supporting facilities, according to the city’s administrative and law enforcement bureau.

The four campsites are located at Jinrun Pearl Museum, No.9 Primary School, Sanya Teachers Training College and Sanya Sports Stadium.

With the fast growth of personalized tourism, more and more tourists are opting to camp at the beach. Statistics have shown that the 4 campsites received 405 tourists for RV tours from 12 provinces during last year’s National Day holiday.

To ensure convenience for tourists, the camping areas are equipped with lighting facilities, mobile toilets, showers and cabins. Besides, a special team will be sent there to conduct daily patrols to ensure the safety of the tourists.
