Sanya topped the list of 2012 Top 10 Popular Destinations in China conducted by Ctrip.com.
 
The top 10 popular domestic destinations in 2012 are Sanya, Lijiang, Beijing, Xiamen, Guilin, Hangzhou, Huanglong scenic area in Jiuzhai Valley, Shanghai, Chengdu, Suzhou.
 
Besides, a series of individual awards have been selected through online voting. The expert evaluation covered the best independent travel destination, the best honeymoon destination, the greatest potential destination, the best eco-tourism destination, the most leisure destination and the most attractive urban destination.
 
The selection, which was conducted by Ctrip.com, has been held for 4 consecutive years with millions of participants. It is the only national evaluation event of tourism destination based on online voting.
