Two new bus routes within Haitang Bay area were opened for tourists and local residents on Friday.

Bus No.1, which runs between Wuzhizhou Island and Nantian Hot Springs, will be operated by 8 six-meter-long buses and cover 19 stops including Haitang Road, Jianglin Road, Longhai Road, PLA 301 Hospital, 9 star hotels, International Shopping Center, Wuzhizhou Island, Fengtang Village, Jianglin Village, Zhuangda Village, Longjiang Village, Longhai Village and Nantian Hot Springs. It runs for a total of 42 kilometers.

Bus No.33 route, covering a total distance of 130 kilometers, directly links the Sanya Phoenix international Airport with Haitang Bay and will be operated by 6 six-meter-long buses.

In addition, the routes from Sanya downtown to Haitang Bay and from Linwang stop to Tenqiao bridge stop will be opened by 2013 to form a complete bus network in the Haitang Bay area.
