Sanya Transportation Bureau is implementing some emergency plans to ensure smooth roads during the New Year holiday.

5 transportation companies have been asked to arrange one tour bus each to help out in the event of traffic emergencies and to build an information bank of the emergency buses and their drivers to facilitate the dispatch of emergency vehicles.

To lessen the difficulty of catching a taxi during the holidays, the government has asked all taxi companies to limit operation to within their designated areas to ensure taxies are always available downtown, and made the Talent Group taxi company responsible for the traffic in Phoenix International Airport, and Sanya Lianhong Passenger Automobile Co, Ltd responsible for the two train stations in Sanya downtown and Yalong Bay.

To make it easier for residents and tourists to visit scenic spots, special tour bus routes from the airport and train station to Nanshan Cultural Tourism Zone and Tianyahaijiao Scenic Spot have opened to the public.
