Sanya to regulate tourism market for 2013 Spring Festival holiday
In order to avoid the overcharging and customer-cheating in the tourism market during past Spring Festival holidays, Sanya government will intensify its efforts to regulate the tourist market to ensure a smooth holiday for tourists
All tourist-related operators including catering, hotels, shopping sites, scenic spots and seafood stalls are required to sign an agreement to establish a credit system.
Catering business operators once reported overcharging or cheating customers will not only have their business licenses revoked, but also be listed into the blacklist system. The owners involved will be not allowed to operate similar businesses for the next three years. The site will be no longer used for the purpose of catering business.
Meanwhile, the pricing information of the city’s seafood stalls put on the official website of the local price bureau will be updated on a regular basis for public scrutiny.
The bureau will also set up a special patrol team to inspect the operation of seafood stalls in major tourist areas at least twice every day.
