The 16th China (Sanya) Tianyahaijiao International Wedding Festival kicked off at Tianyahaijiao scenic spot of Sanya on December 12.

Themed with "Love you to Tianya, accompany you to Haijiao", the festival featured a number of wedding-themed photography activities and a bridal beauty photography contest.

 
 
At the wedding ceremony, 80 couples held hands with their wife or husband with happy smiles on their faces. These couples included newly-married young couples and old married couples celebrating their silver or gold wedding anniversaries. Among them, 20 pairs of foreign couples from Russia and Kazakhstan attracted the most public attention. The whole audience was touched by the romance of the event and danced along to the music.

As part of the city’s tourism marketing promotion campaign, the festival will help to promote Sanya as the perfectdestination for weddings and honeymoons, thanks to its beautiful and romantic scenery.
