There are currently 59 bus stops in the downtown areas. However, the old signs are easy to miss, and bus information is hard to keep up-to-date with incomplete bus routes and the general poor condition of the bus stops.

The new bus stops, which will be installed next year, will be more visible and will have a more professional appearance by adopting a unified and standardized sign inside and outside the buses.

The government plans to build 108 new bus shelters and 276 bus stop boards next year, which will be mainly distributed at the Sanya Bay Road, Sanya College Road, Jinjiling Road, Jiyang Avenue, Haitang Bay Town Binhai Avenue, Luling Road, Haiyu West and East Line.
