According to the Marine Bureau of Sanya, China’s first luxury antique cruise ship, the ‘Marine Great Wall’, will be put into operation soon, and will begin its trial voyage from Sanya.

The bureau has arranged a team to conduct an overall inspection of the ship, to ensure the safety of passengers before its trial voyage.

The inspection groups also mentioned to establish a supervision mechanism on safety risk assessment and ocean pollution management as well as to strengthen its capacity on emergency response.

Weighing 1,458 tonnes, the cruise ship is a total length of 60 meters and can hold up to 450 passengers. It is the first one-thousand-tonnage sightseeing cruise in Sanya to feature a full range of entertainment facilities, including bars, performance halls and 5D cinemas.
