SuperStar Aquarius kicks off its 2nd Sanya deployment this November
The SuperStar Aquarius ship of Star Cruises Hong Kong Limited, with about 1,300 passengers on board, began its second homeport deployment in Sanya on the 2nd November, kicking off the winter season of Hainan cruise tours to Hong Kong, as well as appealing to tourist destinations in Vietnam.
Between November and next March, the SuperStar Aquarius will re-launch its original cruise routes to Halong Bay and Danang in Vietnam. Besides this, a multi-destination single journey between Sanya and Hong Kong is set to be offered on December 30th, offering passengers a new cruise experience with the 4 days and 3 nights trip.
The SuperStar Aquarius plans to operate 140 cruise tours and the route is expected to carry 400,000 passengers from the second season.
Aside from this, the SuperStar Gemini, after a US$50m renovation by Star Cruises, will be introduced to sail from Sanya by 2013. It is the second cruise to sail from Sanya, offering cruise tours to destinations in Southeast Asian regions.
