Sanya Duty-free Store to be expanded before New Year
The Sanya Duty-free Store has made plans to expand their floor space to more than 10,000 square meters, and the extended area is scheduled to be completed before New Year’s Day and the Spring Festival.
As the only offshore duty-free store in mainland China, the Sanya Duty-free Store has received nearly 5.5 million shoppers since the duty-free policy was enacted on April 20, 2011.
During this year’s 8-day Super Golden Week, the Sanya Duty-free Store received 99,000 visitors. 17,000 customers flooded to the Sanya Duty-free Store on 3rd October alone, a 13% increase from last year.
