Sanya Phoenix Int’l Airport to add 31 routes in winter & spring season
Sanya Phoenix International Airport will add 31 new routes during the winter and spring season.
During the winter and spring season of the CAAC, Sanya Phoenix International Airport will add 31 new routes, and increase the flight frequency of six existing routes, according to the airport authorities yesterday.
The airport will operate a total of 169 flight routes during the 2012-2013 winter and spring season which will begin from 28th October. Airline companies such as the Hainan Airlines, China Southern Airlines and Shandong Airlines will launch 31 new routes to Sanya, including the Sanya-Yangtai route, Sanya-Qingdao route and Sanya-Wuxi route.
As well as this, they will also add more flights to six existing routes from Sanya to Shanghai, Xi’an, Chengdu, and Chongqing.
It is estimated that the passenger throughput of the Sanya Phoenix International Airport will rise by 10% from last years numbers.
