Construction of Shimei Bay yacht club to be completed in late November
China Resources recently accelerated the construction of Shimei Bay yacht club. It is estimated that the project may be complete by late November.
Shimei Bay yacht club, consisting of a yacht dock, a yacht club covering 4848.62 square meters, a hotel and other world-class supporting facilities, has a 717-meter-long breakwater, a 477-meter-long seawall and 208 berths. The total investment of the project will reach RMB320 million before its completion.
The total length of berths at the club is 3,528 meters, and will provide a berth for the world’s largest yacht. The depth of water is 5.8 meters, which is sufficient to host the Volvo Ocean Race.
