Recently, an online petition named “Let’s shoot ‘Sanya Style’” has received hundreds of clicks on tianya.cn, a famous local forum in China. About 50 netizens have shown an interest in shooting “Sanya Style” video in order to promote the beautiful Sanya.
 
The initiator, Shenhua Yinxiang, said the shooting is now in the preparatory stages and that he has set up a QQ group for discussing the specific details. “We will promote the positive side of Sanya”
 
Some netizens have said that the video should feature famous locations in Sanya such as Daxiao Dongtian, Tianya Haijiao, Yalong Bay, Dadonghai and Luhuitou Park, while the creator said they will choose the places to represent Sanya rather than including them all in the video.
 
Other netizens have said that “Sanya Style” should cover other national features, while others suggested that the tinikling dance would be a good choice.
