The Sanya Ladies Open 2012 is set to kick off at Yalong Bay Golf Club from 2nd to the 4th of November.

A total of 114 top golfers from 27 countries and regions all over the world will gather in Sanya in order to compete for prizes totaling 200,000 euros.

According to Mr. Liao Min-sheng, director of Sanya Culture & Sports Bureau, this is another step for Sanya in its desire to become one of the world’s most prestigious leisure destinations.

Australian golfer Frances Bondad, last year’s Euro Women Golf champion, and South African golfer Lee-Anne Pace who was the winner of 2010’s competition have confirmed that they will be competing in the championship.

The World Ladies Championship has been jointly recognized by LET and China LPGA Tour.
