An exhibition of the work of Zhang Qiang, a local painter, is being held at the Sanya Bihailantian Art Gallery.

The exhibition features 28 selected oil paintings by the artist, displaying a wide range of techniques and a variety of styles and subjects that are inspired by the local area.

As a graduate of the Oil Painting Department of Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts, Zhang Qiang was a student of Professor Shenjun and Guo Runwen who are both well-known Chinese oil painting masters, specializing in painting ports in a naturalistic manner.

The exhibition opened on October 6th and visitors will be able to enjoy the works until October 12th.
