This year Sanya will witness a seasonal influx of tourists during October’s long holidays. To create a safe and smooth overland tourism environment, the Sanya government will provide four RV (Recreational Vehicle) sites free of charge for the campers.

Overland travel has gained more popularity in recent years, as new methods of travel are developed, enabling tourists to take leisurely road trips and view the natural landscape beyond the seaside.

After the preliminary investigation and selection, the four camping sites will be located at Jinrun Pearl Museum, No.9 Primary School, Sanya Teachers Training College and Sanya Sports Stadium.

Meanwhile, governmental departments in Sanya will tighten efforts on the inspection of the self-driving and camping activities at Dadonghai, Sanya Bay, Yalong Bay and other key areas. Any camping activity in the public places violating the rules will be called off, according to the urban management department of Sanya.
