This year, Sanya College has opened its doors to 5,000 students across the country, covering a total of 56 majors. At present, the number of undergraduate students at the Sanya College exceeds 18,000.
 
To cultivate more talents in order to meet the increasing demand for city development, Sanya College has added two new majors, Chinese Language for Foreigners and Leisure Sports. At the moment Sanya College in the only college in Hainan which offers Leisure Sports as a major. The newly added majors will enroll a total of 80 students from 13 provinces.
