Sanya has carried out a long-term effective system to keep up with the market supply and stabilize the agricultural prices to better service the local residents.
 
According to the plan, there will be 12 off-priced vegetable stores and 15 fair-priced stores across the city by the end of 2015.
 
The fair-price store mainly supplies quality-assured vegetables, fruit, meat, poultry and eggs. The sale prices of vegetables under the fair-priced list are 15% cheaper than the local supermarket and the other items are sold lower no less than 5%.
 
By the end of 2012, Sanya is planning to open 9 more fair-price stores in Fuluckdo Supermarket, Hongsha Community and West Hexi Road, Danzhou Community, Linshun Trade Market, Hongshang Market and Yuechuan Community.
