Sanya to achieve 20M broadband full coverage by end of next year

Sanya will realize its 20M broadband full coverage by the end of next year, according to Hainan Telecommunication Management Bureau.

By the end of this year, Hainan will expand broadband Internet coverage to 1.1 million households and enable 93% of the island's administrative villages have broadband access at the same time. Meanwhile, it will increase its coverage of 4M broadband access to 60% of all the users.

Besides, the island plans to provide broadband access to 1.35 million households, 100M broadband access to corporate users in Sanya and Haikou and 4M access to administrative village users by the end of 2013.
