A delegation consisting of 30 members of food and agriculture organizations from 15 African nations recently visited Sanya to learn about the farming practices and technical research and local government program of the noni-plantation promotion.
 
The visit is part of an agriculture and governance exchange program organized by the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences.
 
During their stay, the experts visited the noni-plantation base in the Lizhigou Area and were introduced about the company’s involvement in developing a series of noni-related products in the fields of daily necessities and cosmetics.
 
Located at the Lizhigou Area, the Hainan Xisha Noni Industry Park is the first Noni Research and Development Center in China. At present, the park has nearly 2,000 mu noni trees.
 
The visiting delegation expressed their interest in the technology innovation to processing the noni fruit. Taking the opportunity of this visit, they expected to learn more experience from the province in advancing agriculture and to deepen the collaboration between the province and Africa in more areas.
