House prices in Sanya are starting to pick up this week, according to the latest statistics on the research on the residential real estate market in Hainan.

On August 21, 159 housing units were traded in Hainan, 38 units less on the previous day.

A total of 6 cities have made the transaction volumes. Haikou topped among the list with home sales at 91 units, followed by Sanya at 15 units, Wenchang at 4 units and Qionghai at 16 units.

Among the 6 cities, Sanya topped the list with the highest average home price at 26,594 yuan per square meter on August 21, followed by Haikou at 7,441 yuan, Chengmai at 7,075 yuan, Wenchang at 6,875 yuan, Qionghai at 4,677 yuan and Ding’an at 3,821 yuan.
