On August 14, Mr. Wu Gaoxian, the President of Genting Hong Kong Limited in AsiaPacific proudly announced the return of the SuperStar Aquarius for a second seasonal deployment in Sanya in November. The cruise will offer itineraries to appealing tourist destinations Halong Bay and Danang in Vietnam.

Star Cruises was the first international cruise line to make Sanya its homeport when the SuperStar Aquarius arrived at the port last year. In the upcoming winter season, the cruise line will offer 3-night and 2-night voyages to Halong Bay and Danang. This deployment will include special cruises from Sanya to Hong Kong.

According to Mr. Wu, as a pioneer in Asia’s cruise industry, Star Cruises has contributed significantly to the growth of the cruise market in Greater China. Among all the Chinese ports, Sanya presents the best travel opportunities in the winter season due to its tropical climate and various tourism advantages.

He added that the convenient measure which allows Hainan ID cardholders to apply for the Cross Border Pass and cruises to Vietnam will soon be applied nation-wide, letting guests enjoy their cruise holidays and visits to Sanya and Vietnam

The SuperStar Aquarius is expected to offer 52 voyages during its five-month deployment.
