According to Meiya Air, the largest seaplane team in Asia will settle in Sanya this year.

After being authorized and awarded relevant certifications by State Administration of Industry and Commerce (SAIC) and Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC), Meiya Air is the first professional tourist airline with water aircraft and amphibian aircraft.

According to the plan, Meiya Air will deliver 25 Cessna 208 Caravan and DHC-6 aircraft to Sanya. Boasting the largest seaplane team in Asia, these seaplanes aim to realize the handling capacity of 300,000 passengers by 2015.

The DHC-6/400 aircraft introduced by Meiya Air is not only the most capable amphibious craft in the world but also the most widely used business seaplane. At present, Meiya Air is preparing for the approval of its inaugural flight in China.
