The installation of surveillance systems in Sanya is processing smoothly and 1,051 surveillance cameras are expected to be put into service in August this year.

With the fast urbanization, the current traffic surveillance systems on the main roads are not enough to cover the city’s security management.

The total investment on the surveillance system is over 19 million yuan. These surveillance cameras will be distributed at downtown centers including major streets, public schools, parks, residential communities and densely populated areas.

Besides, neighboring towns like Fenghuang Town, Yacheng Town and Jiyang Town are also included in the coverage to ensure its seamless urban security monitoring.
