Construction of the Animation City project of Sanya Animation Industry Base is scheduled to start in October, according to Sanya relevant departments.

As of end of July, the Animation City project of Animation Industry Base has attracted investment of 112 million yuan. The figure accounts for 38% of the total annual investment.

Local authority has carried out preferential subsidy policies like tax exemptions and affordable housing supply to attract more investment on the animation projects.

Besides, an animated quality control center and an innovation design center will be set up for the new research on animated designs. At present, 31 companies have signed up to invest in the project.
