Sanya halts approval of new B&B inn operations
To regulate the B&B inns sector in Sanya, local police have suspended the approval of new B&B inn operations following the crackdown on illegal B&B inns across the city.
There are over 800 B&B inns in the city. Among them, a large number of hostels operating without valid licenses have raised major safety concerns from firefighters.
As of now, it is reported that 24 B&B inns in the city have been ordered to cease operation by Sanya Police for unlicensed operation. Another 120 owners of B&B inns in residential communities were educated to give up rights for the operation.
