Sanya police shut down 24 illegal B&B inns in 1st half of 2012
According to Sanya police authorities, the city has shut down 24 illegal B&B inns in the first half of this year.
Starting from now till the end of October, Sanya police have pledged to strengthen inspections to clear up illegal B&B inns across the city.
During the sting, 24 B&B inns were forced to cease operation as they did not have valid licenses and more than 120 owners of B&B inns in residential communities were educated to give up rights for the operation.
With clear definitions and tougher standards, Sanya police will strictly limit the number of B&B inns in residential locations and severely punish owners who fail to follow the regulations on the management of B&B inns before the tourism peak season.
