Top S’porean bridge players to compete in 2012 bridge contest in Sanya
The 2012 National Bridge Invitation Tournament will be held in October from the 18th to 22th in Sanya, said the organizing committee recently.
The event, along with the National Mixed Teams' Bridge Tournament, which was concluded on July 15 in Haikou, are the two national bridge tournaments that being organized in Hainan.
This year, in addition to 400 top players from Chinese mainland, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Macau, top teams from Singapore are expected to take part in the 4-day event.
Each year, the event attracts more than 400 players from 50 teams across the country since 2009.
The tournament is organized by China Bridge Association, Hainan Department of Culture, Radio, Film, Television, Publication and Sports and Sanya Municipal Government.
