As part of the Hainan International Kitesurf Festival, the 2013 PKRA World Tour (Haikou Event) will take place between the 1st and 6th November, according to local department.

The Haikou Event is the 10th event on the Pro Kite Rider Association (PKRA) schedule and it is organized in collaboration with Yisheng and YouFirst Sports. It is a freestyle event.

Back in 2012, Alex Pastor and Karolina Winkowska took the first place in the Men’s and Women’s freestyle challenge respectively.

36 of the world’s best riders will clash on the Nandu River in Haikou. They will put their skills to work for important world ranking points and $37,000 prizes. This event will also attract a huge number of spectators and wide media coverage.
