The Sanya government sent a delegation of 27 members to Sweden for a Sanya tourism promotion activity recently after receiving an invitation from the Chinese Confederation of Industry and Commerce in Sweden.

The tourism promotion activity was launched at the King’s Garden, Stockholm on 10th July. The Li People’s exotic dance and beautiful voices attracted groups of local residents and tourists, most of whom showed great interest and curiosity.

"Sweden is the largest country in North Europe with a highly-developed economy. The winter here is long and cold, which is the opposite of Sanya. This situation offers Sweden and Sanya a good opportunity to cooperate with each other.” said the chairman of the Confederation.

Representatives from Luhuitou Scenic Area, Forest Park in Yalong Bay and Ocean Sonic Resort Sanya also gave away publicity materials and souvenirs to tourists on the day. Most local travel agencies showed great interest in exploring Sanya’s tourism market.
