Cessna Caravan-208 settles down in Sanya Phoenix Int’l Airport

The first amphibious aircraft, Cessna Caravan-208, was transported to Sanya Phoenix International Airport and successfully delivered to Meiya Air Co., Ltd on 11th July, reported World Civil Aviation Resource Net.
Meiya Air is the first aviation company to boast an amphibious aircraft in China and the company will first put two Caravan-208s into operation. These two aircrafts will be operated to provide tourists with traveling and sightseeing services, which is of great significance.
Each Caravan-208 can accommodate 9 passengers with a maximum range of 1519 kilometers. Caravan-208s can also be utilized in the fields of Ocean Monitoring, Rainmaking, Medical Rescuing and the Application of Agriculture and Forestry.
The Caravan-208s will offer the tourists in Hainan a brand-new experience of transportation, sightseeing and traveling.
