Recently, the leading actors Huang Bo and Lin Chi-Ling have begun their work on the upcoming romantic film’ 101st Marriage Proposal’ in Sanya.

Directed by the Chinese Director Chen Daoming, the movie is adapted from the popular 1991 Japanese television series of the same name, which starred Tetsuya Taketa and Atsuko Asano.

In the film, Huang Bo portrays a down-on-his-luck man who meets a beautiful cellist portrayed by Lin Chiling on the 100th arranged date and immediately falls for her. But her heart is set on her ex-boyfriend. Without good looks and deep pockets, the man only can pursue his love with a sincere heart and perseverance.

The film is expected to be released during the Valentine’s Day in 2013.
