The Sanya Qifu Bay was ordered to suspended business on 4th July after it was exposed operating illegally 2 days ago. The Sanya law enforcement departments including the Sanya Tourism Committee ordered the Qifu Bay to tear down illegal buildings of the “Reef-1” (Hai Jiao Yi Hao) project before 5th July.
Recently, a tourist from Anhui complained that he was charged RMB 180 as a tour guide took him to the Sanya Qifu Bay which was under construction in February this year.
On 1st July, a reporter of the Southern Metropolis Daily made a secret inquiry to the Qifu Bay and found that the Qifu Bay was called the Sanmei Bay originally. The “Reef-1” marine tourism project was proved illegal as it hasn’t get approval from the Sanya Tourism Committee and the Sanya Price Bureau.
On 4th July, the illegal tourist site Qifu Bay was required to suspend its business and demolish all the illegal buildings and facilities of the “Reef-1” project before this Thursday.
