Qi Jinran claims 2012 ‘Aloha Cup’ Sailing Babes title in Sanya
As part of the promotional activities for the Hainan International Sailing Regatta, the 2012 ‘Aloha Cup’ Sailing Babes Contest was staged Monday night in Yalong Bay, Sanya.
Qi Jinran, based on her excellent performances in a series of beauty shows, became the eventual winner amongst the 14 contestants.
Zhang Cheng pocketed the first runner-up position while Yao Runzhen came in third.
Sponsored by the Chinese State Sport General Administration and Hainan Provincial government, the Hainan International Sailing Regatta is the first large-scale national sailing event held in China.
In 2012, the regatta has attracted nearly 23 sailing boats and 300 sailors from home and abroad.
