The report shows that Sanya tops 50 Chinese major tourism cities in hotel rate
According to the “Statistics bulletin of China’s star-rated hotels 2011” released by the National Tourism Administration on 28th June, operating data of 12,221 out of 13,513 registered star-rated hotels in China had been audited by provincial tourism administration departments by the end of 2011. The completion rate stood at 90.44%, up by 3.7% year on year.
Among the 12,221 star-rated hotels, 11,676 hotels have filled out the operating data of 2011, apart from 545 hotels which have been shut down.
Moreover, by the end of 2011, there were a total of 5,481 star-rated hotels in 50 major tourism cities in China. Among them, 4,901 hotels passed an operating data audit.
The report shows that Sanya tops 50 Chinese major tourism cities in hotel rate at RMB 724.95 per night. Meanwhile, the average hotel rate of Lijiang stood at RMB 161.59 per night, which was much cheaper than that of other tourism cities in China.
