On 20th June, the relocation project of the Nepal Pavilion of 2010 Shanghai Expo, and the foundation-laying ceremony of the Nanshan Buddhism Cultural Research Center, officially kicked off at Sanya Nanshan Cultural Tourist Zone.

Since 2010, the relevant planning and design work on the Nanshan Buddhism Cultural Research Center has been carried out step by step. The construction project includes a Buddhist Forum Site and Tianzhu Miracles Scenic Spot and will cover an area of 1,711 hectares.

The construction of the Buddhism Forum Site aims to set up a platform for high-level exchange and cooperation, providing supporting facilities to the fourth Buddhism Forum. Meanwhile, the Tianzhu Miracles Scenic Spot, which will take Nepal Pavilion as a base, will illustrate the origin of Buddhism Culture profoundly and truthfully.

The Buddhism Forum Site and Nepal Pavilion are two significant projects in constructing a world-class platform for Buddhism cultural exchange and research.
