Monks at Nanshan Cultural Tourist Zone are distributing rice dumplings(Zongzi) to tourists.
With the approach of China’s traditional Dragon Boat Festival, tourist sites in Sanya have launched various Dragon Boat Festival theme tourism activities. Nanshan Cultural Tourist Zone will hold a series of activities to pray for blessings during the Dragon Boat Festival holiday, which falls on 22nd to 24th June, 2012.
The main prayer activities include taking a dragon water bath, applying realgar, tasting rice dumplings and experiencing a bamboo dance. What’s more, the monks of Nanshan Temple will hold prayer ceremonies at Nanshan Temple and Sanshisan Guanyin Hall, sharing the joys of the Chinese traditional festival with tourists.
