The seafood stalls street at Dadonghai beachfront in Sanya will become the first tourism and food safety Model Street in Hainan province and will be officially established in July, 2012.

According to the Sanya Food and Drug Administration, the seafood stalls at Dadonghai beachfront will become the first in Hainan to use tableware washing and sterilizing machines.

In addition, a grading administration will be introduced to assess the services and food safety of the catering enterprises in Sanya, which will be graded into three levels of excellent, good, and general.

After the grading, the catering enterprises will be given insignias bearing a big smile, smile, and ordinary face accordingly.

More than 3000 catering enterprises in Sanya will be included in the grading system.
