China’s 1st civil amphibious plane to be settled in Sanya

According to the Sanya Maritime Bureau, two Cessna amphibious planes of Meiya Air will arrive on the Sanya sea area in June this year.
At the same time, Meiya Air will expand seaplanes to 20 in the Sanya International Seaplanes Center by 2015.
The Sanya International Seaplanes Center will cover a total area of 60,000 square meters, with projects including multifunctional buildings for aviation inbound & outbound ports, aviation exhibition and service centers, tourist service centers and a VIP private yacht club.
The Sanya Maritime Bureau set up a professional team, who will cooperate with Meiya Air, in the construction of seaplane docks, airport runaways, and the special training of seaplane pilots.
